It is a traditional local drink from Crete that dates back to the old times. It is used as a drink for all health and as an aphrodisiac. In southern Crete, midwives gave newborn babies their first bath with an infusion of 40 herbs to introduce them to the scents of Mother Earth. It contains 40 aromatic and medicinal herbs such as: Mountain tea, dittany, sage, thyme, chamomile, hibiscus, butterfly, lemon, jasmine, dandelion, marjoram, etc. It is a very tasty tea. Enjoy it as a breakfast or afternoon drink with or without honey.
